NFF July news letter

It’s been a great month for us at NFF, as well as the Strength and Toning Bootcamp we have been taking part in a running event and getting excited about an upcoming Mud Run!

First though I want to tell you about next months awesome Bootcamp.

July ‘Melt It Off’ Bootcamp.

For the first three weeks of July we will will be doing the ‘Melt It Off’ Bootcamp program. This is the tried and tested way to get results when trying to use exercise to get rid of excess fat.

We will be starting on Thursday 2nd JUly and you can find more details and register for further information here;

Don’t wait too long to confirm your place though because the Summer Holidays are almost here and places will be snapped up fast!

The Sutton Beast 10km run.

On Sunday 21st June Chris, Bob and I took part in the Sutton Beast, a mixed terrain 10km run. It was an overcaste but warm and humid day, the course was a mix of on and off road and included a long hill near the finish to really challenge our will power. We all finished in good times and Chris did well to finish in just over 53 minutes in what was his first ever 10km race. I expect to see his times come down to around the 45 minute mark quite quickly if he keeps it up.

Spud Run

March Athletic Club are holding there anual Spud Run on Sunday 5th July at the rugby club. There is a 1.5 mile fun run starting at 10:15am and an 8 mile race which starts at 11am. The course runs up through the nature reserve by Whitemoor and along some of the surrounding droves.

This is a very popular local event and you can find more details here:

This a a fantastic fun event that really is suitable for everyone, don’t worry if you cant run 5km, there will be plenty of others who are walking the course too. This event is seriously muddy!

I will be taking payments of £36 on Thursday 2nd July from those who want me to make a block booking to beat the deadline before the price goes up. All members of team NFF will get a No Fad Fitness t shirt provided by me FOC as well as the finishers T Shirt and medal from the organisers.
